We advocate a team approach. Assembling a team early in the process allows us to troubleshoot problems that might otherwise prove more costly down the road.

We pay particular attention in melding the design with site-specific characteristics such as micro-climate, topography, building orientation, drainage, vegetation, light and views. In developing our designs, we also consider the local community and appropriate building technologies.

Experience has shown that it is advantageous to involve a contractor early in the project. Before overly detailed architectural documents are developed and project costs spiral upwards, a contractor develops a preliminary estimate, helping owners make informed decisions on the front end.

Buildings should be appealing on a multitude of levels, embodying both a “sense of place” in the landscape and in the hearts and minds of the inhabitants. Simply put, we want you to feel at home when we’re finished.

Point of Entry has been involved with a number of investment properties, ranging from vacation rentals, residential and retail developments. We can offer ways to add value to increase the equity of your existing property or assist you in consideration of projects to be developed.

We also collaborate and partner with clients to establish development scenarios and assemble teams to pursue development.

Furniture Design:
